People are being encourgaed to put forward their nominatons for TECT trustees.
The Tauranga Energy Consumer Trust is administered by six trustees, with three trustees retiring by rotation every two years.

The three retiring trustees this year are Ken Collings, Bruce Cronin and Bill Holland. The retiring trustees can re-stand if they wish.
The Trust has appointed Warwick Lampp from electionz.com Ltd as its independent returning officer to manage the process.
'Warwick Lampp will host a candidate information meeting at the TECT office on Tuesday, May 17, at 7pm,” says a statement released by electionz.com.
'The presentation will explain how the election process works, what is involved in completing the nomination documents, and general information about being a TECT trustee.”
If more than three nominations are received, an election will be carried out by postal and internet voting.
Nominations close on Wednesday, June 1, at 12pm.
Candidates have to be TECT consumers and must be nominated by two separate TECT consumers. Each candidate is required to provide a profile statement of 150 words or less and a recent photo.
Voting papers will be mailed out to approximately 52,000 eligible voters from June 27. The election closes on Friday, July 22, with election results being released after midday.
