The ‘Golden Triangle' mayors will jointly address an audience for the first time at a luncheon in Tauranga on May 23.
These three mayors: Auckland's Len Brown, Hamilton's Julie Hardaker and Tauranga's Stuart Crosby, will speak about the ‘Golden Triangle' theme.
Auckland Mayor Len Brown, Hamilton Mayor Julie Hardaker and Tauranga Mayor Stuart Crosby.
The triangle between Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga is experiencing high population growth, has substantial economic opportunities and is home to the country's largest airport and two largest ports.
The event is being hosted by the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce, which is reporting there is substantial interest in this event with attendees coming from Rotorua, Hamilton and Auckland – along with key business people in Tauranga.
The luncheon is on Monday, May 23 at the Sebel Trinity Wharf Hotel starting at 11.45am.

Could be worth attending to see if Len Brown does one of his self beating up displays. Nothing like a good self face slapping.

We all know Julie is making an honest effort to rationalize the Hamilton scene and address past Councils extravagances. The other 2 misfits are still spending themselves silly and dragging citizens further into the bog.Whatever you do Julie don't kiss or touch the toads you will be infected contaminated with fiscal madness.

Well a good musical analogy.Other tunes that might fit the bill are 3 Blind Mice 3 Coins in a Fountain & The Carnival is Over.On reflection however Good Morning Starshine with its crazy words is the most apt and I promote it as TCC theme song for 2011 to be sung by the 3 Mayors at the talkshow.
