Peacefully on Sunday 30^th April 2017 following a short illness, with his family by his side. Loved partner of Jen Ingle, father and father inlaw to Denise, Lynette and Chris, brother and brother inlaw of Neil, Phil and Avrill. Grandfather of James, Logan and Lucas, uncle of Michael, Brent, Grant, Rhonda and Rae. Special thanks to Lisa the nurse on the bike, the staff of the Acute Care Ward at Whakatane Hospital, and ICU at Tauranga Hospital.

A funeral service for Alan will be held at the Whakatane Baptist Centre, Keepa Road, Whakatane on Thursday 4^th May at 1pm followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, PO Box 9308, Hamilton or may be left at the service.
