Today is the last day to vote for Tauranga City Council, Western Bay District Council, Bay of Plenty Regional Council and the Bay of Plenty District Health Board.
Voting closes at 12 midday today, Saturday October 12, and people are advised to go directly to a council library or to Council service centres.
It is too late now to vote by mail. All votes posted by mail after Wednesday, October 9, may not be received in time for the close of voting, at noon today.
If you haven't received your voting papers, you can still cast a special vote at the 91 Willow Street service centre, but not at libraries. You don't need any special documentation for this – not even an ID – but you must be enrolled to vote.
