UPDATE 4.33pm: Residents near Oriana Crescent in Bellevue report hearing loud sharp noises about 3pm today. Soon afterwards, two ambulances were seen driving into the street.
Police are currently responding to an incident at a property in Bellevue, Tauranga. Police were called to the property around 12:25am following a report of concern.
The Police Negotiation Team and Armed Offenders Squad are in attendance.
A SunLive reporter at the scene this afternoon says that 23 Police vehicles were lined up in the street, with members of the Armed Offenders Squad seen walking up and down the street.
'Shortly before 3.50pm a large number of Police left the scene. The street is still cordoned off.”
Earlier, 9.30am: Police are currently responding to an incident at a property in Bellevue, Tauranga.

An Oriana Crescent resident reports that the road has been blocked with many police cars.
'The AOS team have been taking shields and lots of equipment down one driveway.”
Police report that cordons are in place around the Bellevue property, and advise there is no risk to the wider public.
