UPDATE 7.16pm: State Highway 29, Lower Kaimai remains closed following a crash involving two trucks.
Police are at the scene of a truck crash on State Highway 29, Lower Kaimai.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area as both lanes are blocked, says a police spokesperson.
"Diversions are in place from Cambridge Road to Pori Pori Road."
The New Zealand Transport Agency are advising the following diversions.
Westbound traffic: Turn left onto Poripori Rd, right onto Crawford Rd, left onto Wairoa Rd, right onto SH2, for Tauriko turn right onto Moffat Rd, for West continue on SH2 and rejoin SH29.
Eastbound traffic: Turn right onto Cambridge Rd, left onto Moffat Rd, left onto SH2, left onto Wairoa Rd, right onto Crawford Rd, left onto Poripori Rd and then rejoin SH29.

Emergency services are attending a crash on SH29 near Belk Road, in the lower Kaimai ranges.
Police were notified by Ambulance at 3.37pm of a vehicle collision on State Highway 29, a police spokesperson says.
'It appears both lanes are blocked at the moment and looks like two trucks are involved”.
'It looks like one person is injured.”
The New Zealand Transport Agency is advising motorists to expect delays and to avoid the area.
Traffic in the area is very heavy according to google maps.

You truckys need to SLOW DOWN going was to farst at rounder bouts or corners and truck leans right over like they going to tip over. SLOW DOWN IS NOT A RACE OR LEAVE YA PH ALONE
