A planned water shutdown will affect Windermere residents tomorrow between 1.30am and 3am.
The shutdown, to allow for operational testing, will affect residents in Windermere Drive, College Place and Lagoon Place.
Communications advisor Marcel Currin says the shutdown will take place while a temporary meter is installed for water volume testing.
'A bulk supply meter, which is only for operational monitoring and not for billing purposes, is being tested to ensure that reported supply volumes are accurate.”
Marcel says to achieve this a second temporary meter will be installed on a downstream hydrant.
The volume passing though both meters will be compared to see if there is a discrepancy between the readings.
The temporary meter will be removed at the end of the test.

I wonder which meter is assumed to be correct? The existing one, or the temporary one?
Who knows?

What if they are both wrong? How would they know?
