Two people were taken to hospital following a crash on SH29A last night.

Police were notified of a two-vehicle crash between the Taipari St off-ramp and Maungatapu roundabout at 12.05am this morning.

Police say that two people were taken to hospital.

Road diversions were put in place while emergency services attended the scene.

The road reopened at 4.36am.
