Traffic delays are expected on State Highway 2 today near Omokoroa as tree felling takes place.
The work will be carried out between Plummers Point Rd and Youngson Rd.
The tree felling, which began at 6am, will continue until 1pm.
A Stop/Go will be in place with a 30 km per hour temporary speed limit.
Motorists are advised to expect delays today if travelling between Whakamarama and Omokoroa.
Two weeks ago, tree felling on SH2 near Whakamarama caused a traffic delay on SH2 for hundreds of vehicles that were heading north, and those travelling to SH2 along Barrett Rd from Old Highway and Whakamarama Rd.
