There have been two vehicle collisions, one in Papamoa where a car has hit a power pole and one in Paengaroa with a truck overturning on the train tracks.
At 13.37pm Police were notified of a truck overturned on the train tracks off the Te Puke Highway at Paengaroa.
Police advise that train control are aware and that FENZ and St John were also notified.
"There are no reports of any injuries," says a Police spokesperson.
"Traffic management is in place. The road will be closed while the scene is cleared."
Diversions are being put in place at the Maketu turnoff and Young Road onto Pah Rd.
Police report that a car has crashed into a power pole at Papamoa.
Police were alerted to the crash on Parton Rd and Tara Rd at 2.44pm.
There are reports of the powerline being down but no reports at this stage of any power outage.

Must have swerved to avoid a bicycle. It’s always their fault, never truck drivers.
