Food for thought

For two or three months a year with events and holidays, residents are severely restricted accessing facilities in the Tauranga, Mount areas.

If one works under a user pay system, why should restricted residents pay for unavailable services?

Rates should only be demanded for availability. Rates in Tauranga are amongst the highest in New Zealand. Many people live on a pension in the area, and with more medical services required as one gets older, money gets scarcer.
