Many New Zealanders won't realise the extent to which our Prime Minister and her team are hellbent on dumbing down our people.
One example is the recent lending law changes which puts a far greater onus on banks and others to make sure that the borrower can repay.
A recent article tells me that executives of the lender can risk a fine of up to $200,000. Further, a customer's history with meeting obligations cannot be taken into account, nor can the lender make an assumption that people entering into a house mortgage will cut down their discretionary spending. Little wonder that banks are having to nit-pick over regular coffee purchases.
Lenders are required to better document their findings. That will then lead to lawyers for those house owners defaulting on mortgages to endeavour to prove that the bank should not have lent to their client in the first place. Thus the defaulters will be off the hook and maybe claim damages.
This is all part of a classic Communist endeavour to keep the poor people poor and under control, and to attack the ordinary sensible citizen.
The signs are there in many aspects. New Zealanders need to wake up.
