What is probably on most people's minds is the changes to the traffic light system.

Below is what we know in a nutshell.

From 11:59pm tomorrow, there will be a few changes to the current traffic light system framework.

Along with the rest of NZ, the Bay of Plenty region will remain at the Red setting.

This will be reviewed on April 4.

Key things you should know about life at Red:

- From April 4, there will be no requirement to use My Vaccine Pass

- There will be no limits on outdoor gatherings and a 200 person limit for indoor gatherings. (Vaccine Passes are still required for both until April 4)

- Mask rules remain unchanged

- There's no requirement to scan in or for businesses to display QR codes
