I'm horrified that this Ardern/Mahuta-led government consider they have the right to force Tauranga citizens/ratepayers to accept their extension of Commissioners at our Tauranga City Council. It's beyond their legal power of appointment, and authority as NZ Government to have no democratic representation of the ratepayers of Tauranga.

There is no legal justification for the extension of the Commission and for denying democracy in Tauranga.

These Commissioners appointed are costing ratepayers an enormous chunk of the rates paid by us all.

Citizens of Tauranga, we must unit and hold on to our Freedom of Rights, to have a democratic local body election in 2022 like the rest of New Zealand. We must act now!
