Now that petrol and diesel costs are so high to be unaffordable for many, thoughts must go to solving the problem. The Government may mandate carless days again, but that would not be popular. It seems to me motorists who want achieve what the Government has not been able to do, reduce emissions by making their own decisions as to how to reduce their car use to less than 2000 levels. Pick your own carless days. Try the alternatives and feel better about the sacrifice.
