The Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield will today host a media briefing to provide updates on the response to the Omicron outbreak.
Dr Bloomfield will be joined by the Ministry's Chief Science Advisor Dr Ian Town.
The pair are expected to be live from 1pm today.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Health reported 7592 community cases, 640 hospitalisations and 11 deaths.
The seven-day rolling average of case numbers continues to decline, with today's seven-day rolling average at 10,169 – last Monday it was 13,218.
In the Bay of Plenty, there were 309 new community cases.

This morning, the Ministry also reported a third death considered to be linked to the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccination.
The Covid-19 Vaccine Independent Safety Monitoring Board notified the Ministry of Health of the death on Monday. Read more here.
