Stormy blast on the way for parts of NZ

A storm near Tasmania tonight will fall apart in the NZ area but will help usher in NZ's first big wintry southerly of 2022 this Friday and Saturday, says WeatherWatch.co.nz

"Temperatures will drop nationwide, but especially in the South Island (Dunedin's feels like temp/wind chill temperature on Friday is just +2 at lunchtime!).

"We track the weather around Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands through until Sunday."
