I was interested to read the article about the ladies at Te Puke knitting for the hospitals. What I was surprised at, Tauranga Hospital was not listed as receiving items. I knit and often take 15 items at a time to the baby ward, they are so appreciative. I also knit for Tauranga Plunket, having just knitted jerseys for 12-18 month old babies, as Plunket said they need these sizes as well.

Having Covid at the moment I am knitting out of oddments of yarn toys that will go to Plunket. I have read a few articles over the years of knitting clubs that send items to hospitals out of Tauranga.
