In a response a few months ago to a Letter to the Editor about working 24/7 on Cameron Rd, Tauranga City Council's transport man Brendan Bisley gave the excuses that safety exhaustion etc were to blame. So he left himself exposed to criticism as there are plenty of workers that work 24/7 like waterside workers, police, nurses, doctors, packhouse staff plus probably more, so it will be interesting to hear what he comes up with this time...

TCC replies: Work on this major project is being completed as quickly as possible, with work carried out during the day, night and weekends. Some works are not able to be carried out overnight due to noise restrictions and the impact on local residents.
