Emergency services are attending the scene of an incident at Mount Maunganui.

A SunLive reader reports that an ambulance is at the scene of an incident on Mount Maunganui beach near Shark Alley, opposite the intersection of Pacific Ave and Marine Parade.

"Police cars have arrived near Moturiki," says a SunLive reader.

Another SunLive reader reports there are four police cars at Marine Parade near the Mount cenotaph.
