The search begins for new CEO

The search is officially on to find the next CEO of Tauranga City Council with a recruitment company hired to aid the selection process.

New Zealand-based company EQI Global was selected by TCC to manage the process for selection of a permanent replacement for the late Ken Paterson, 61, who died in his sleep on June 18.
A recruitment company has been hired to replace former TCC CEO Ken Paterson.

EQI principal Graham Ewing has been in the recruitment industry for more than 25 years and recently aided in the selection of the new CEO for Dunedin City Council.

The company proposes a national and international campaign searching for the highest quality candidates available for the position, which is currently being held on an interim basis by Leigh Auton.

The Council hopes to have selected a successful candidate by Christmas with a view to having them start in April or May 2013.
