From the bright lights of Broadway, now the panto-musical version, ‘Aladdin Trouble' is being brought to the stage of Te Puke.

The show features 11 catchy songs, large personalities and colourful costumes.

Family and friends of all ages are invited to be transported into the musical world and a new take on the original script of a street urchin who stumbles upon a magical lamp, unleashing a larger-than-life genie.

The competitive tussle of auditions led to 60 students who are taking part in the production, alongside two main characters Tyler Karl and Molly McGowan.

Tyler, aged 12, a sporty, athletic student filled with confidence and a determination for hard-work, falls perfectly into the character and lead role as Aladdin.

Head along and support this local school production which is being performed on June 28 and 29 from 7pm-9pm at the Te Puke Intermediate Performing Arts Centre.

Tickets are available from the Te Puke Intermediate office alongside door sales. Tickets cost $5 per adult and $3 per child.
