Tauranga Lotto player wins $700,000

A lucky Lotto Strike player from Tauranga will be celebrating after winning $700,000 with Strike Four on Saturday.

The winning Strike ticket was sold on MyLotto to the Tauranga player.

Five lucky Lotto players from Auckland, Porirua, Rotorua, and Rolleston will be toasting a special win after each winning $200,000 with Lotto First Division in Saturday night’s live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at PK Superette in Pt Chevalier, Four Square Tītahi Bay in Porirua, New World Rolleston in Rolleston and on MyLotto to two players from Rotorua and Porirua.

Powerball was not struck on Saturday evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $20 million.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores or on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLottoApp.

Fourteen Lotto players win Second Division

Fourteen lucky Lotto players will be on cloud nine after each winning $24,058 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday's live Lotto draw. 

Two lucky players also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $35,326.

The winning Powerball Second Division tickets were sold at Pak n Save Masterton in Masterton and Elles Rd New World in Strathern. The winning Second Division tickets were sold at the following stores:
