The fire at Bethlehem College is not being treated as suspicious.

Fire investigators are returning to the scene of a fire at Bethlehem College today.

Reports of fire and smoke surging from a school building were reported to Fire and Emergency services just after 7pm on Sunday.

“We arrived and found a single-story building, approximately six metres by ten metres that was totally involved in a fire,” says Fire and emergency spokesperson Josh Pennefather.

There were three fire trucks and attendants sent to the scene, says Josh.

“The fire has since been extinguished.

Josh says the fire was contained to just one building and fire investigators are returning today.

“The fire is not seen as suspicious and no one was injured.”
