Motorists planning to travel over the Kaimai Range on State Highway 29 are advised to expect delays on Wednesday and Thursday due to resealing of the road.
Resurfacing work will take place on SH29 from McLaren Falls Road to Thorn Road, says an NZTA Waka Kotahi spokesperson.
"Sealing works will be completed over two nights on Tuesday January 16 and Wednesday January 17 between hours of 8pm to 6am - weather permitting.
"Lane diversions and Stop/Go with 30kph temporary speed limits will be in place during these hours.
"Expect minor delays during daytime hours on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th as contraflow and temporary speed limits remain in place for loose chip."
