Enquiries are ongoing to locate two vehicles involved in a crash on Upper Ohauiti Road in Tauranga.

At around 5.30am two vehicles fled when approached by a police vehicle, colliding with the police vehicle in the process and rendering it undrivable, says a police spokesperson.

Police have confirmed that no injuries have been reported in the incident.

Enquiries are ongoing.

There are no expected delays, according to Google Maps.
