No further action is required today by Police, following an incident in Pāpāmoa on Saturday evening.

A SunLive reader reports there was screaming heard late on Saturday night in Golden Courie Close at Pāpāmoa Beach. People were also reported to be shouting. Police cars arrived after midnight.

"Police responded to reports of a physical altercation involving a large number of people on Golden Courie Close at midnight," says a police spokesperson.

"Before Police attended, the group dispersed and no further action was required."

Police say there were no reported injuries.
