Reports are coming in about a fire in Omanawa in the Western Bay of Plenty.

Fire and Emergency Central North Island Communications team says the fire is contained, but not extinguished yet.

Greerton and Tauranga Fire and Emergency crews are in attendance after reports came through at 1.20 pm.

The incident involves a shed on fire and a vegetation fire.

The shed is 10x6 meters.

No injuries have been reported.
