Person located safe after search in bush off SH36

Update 4.44 pm, a police spokesperson says the person has been located safe and well.

Rescue efforts are underway after a person has become lost in the bush off Whataroa Rd at 3:21 pm, says a police spokesperson.

Whataroa Road can be located off State Highway 36 at the turn-off to TECT Park in Ngawaro, Bay of Plenty.
