Fire and emergency services are currently trying to extinguish a fire at Doncaster Drive Reserve in Pāpāmoa.

A fire and emergency services spokesperson says they received multiple calls about the fire at 2.50 this afternoon.

They arrived to a vegetation fire that was 40 x 40 metres.

"The fire is contained and under control, and they are working to extinguish it.
