Netball is in the spotlight with Ngongotaha Prem beating Tauranga Sports 1  49-46 in Game 3 of the first round of Division 1.

The first quarter saw an equally matched game. It was not hard for both teams to get the ball to their goal end and successfully shoot for goal.

Two skilfully fast and fit teams played a great game that didn’t disappoint spectators with fast movement, well placed passes & good defensive pressure coming from both goal circles.

The third quarter saw both teams making mistakes with Ngongotaha struggling at times to feed the ball into the goal circle.

However, in the end Ngongotaha played a smart and creative game, especially in the shooting circle to pull out the win over Tauranga Sports 1 with a final score of 46 – 49
