Police can now release the name of the person who died following a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 29, Lower Kaimai on Thursday August 22.

"He was 45-year-old Bradley Paul Mullins, from Maungatapu," says a police spokesperson.

Police were called to the two-vehicle crash, on the Matamata side of the Kaimai Range, at about 5.45pm on Thursday.

Sadly, Bradley died at the scene, say police.

The Serious Crash unit conducted a scene examination and SH29 reopened early Friday morning.

"Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time," says a police spokesperson.
