One person has been transported to hospital following a vehicle crash near Te Puke.

Police responded to reports of a single vehicle crash on Te Puke Highway, Te Puke, around 12.10pm.

"The road was blocked while the road was cleared but has since reopened," says a police spokesperson.

"One person was transported to hospital."
