Emergency services are responding to a crash on State Highway 2 near Whakamārama.

“Police received a report of a single-vehicle crash on SH2 near Te Karaka Drive around 1pm,” a police spokesperson says.

“One person received serious injuries.

“There are no reports of road blocking.”

Motorists are advised to take care around the area.
