Driver flees scene after 15th Ave crash

Police responded to a crash on 15th Avenue at 9.20am, temporarily blocking the road, a spokesman said.

“One of the drivers ran off following the incident, and we’re making inquiries to locate them,” the spokesman said.

No injuries were reported.

Fire and Emergency Services arrived at 9.23am, and, according to a spokesperson, no one was trapped in the vehicle.

Let's not be too quick with damning comments.
The FIGHT or FLIGHT response is very different from person to person. Let's hope that the individual is unhurt first and let the chips fall where they may.

Yes. Let's get real and think about the real victim in this case. That would be the poor person who was left at the scene with a damaged vehicle and not the cowardly idiot who ran away, trying to avoid the consequences without a care for the other party!
