Emergency services are responding to the scene of a multiple vehicle crash on State Highway 2 between Bethlehem and Te Puna.

Police said a six-vehicle rear-end crash on SH 2 near Te Mete Road was reported to Police at around 5.50pm.

"There are reports of a person receiving minor injuries," said a police spokesperson.

"There are no reports of road blocking."
