Reports are coming if of a crash on State Highway 29, near Tauriko.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a truck and two cars have crash in SH29, near the intersection of Cambridge Rd.

The caller says the crash looks to be on the side of the road.

"Traffic seems to be moving, albiet, very slowly. the truck is blocking the turn."

A police said emergency services are responding to a crash involving three vehicles on State Highway 29 near Cambridge Road, Tauriko, reported at around 6.50am.

"The road is partially blocked and motorists are asked to avoid the area and expect delays."
