Passed peacefully at home after a short illness surrounded by his loved ones on 2 May 2025.  Brian was 84 years young.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Flynn (nee Washer), daughters and their families, Tania, Reece and Daniel Harvey; Suzanne, Mark, Max and Maddie Cockayne.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, cnr Cameron Rd & Elizabeth St, Tauranga on Monday 12 May at 10.30am followed by private burial. All messages to the Flynn Family C/- P O Box 650, Tauranga 3144.
