Healthvision Festival of Disability Sport

The Healthvision Festival of Disability Sport is a high-energy two-day event, at Mercury Bay Park, which brings together physically disabled athletes from across the nation, competing in Wheelchair Rugby and Wheelchair Basketball, over one weekend and fun have-a-go sessions across multiple codes for youth, whānau and low vision athletes.

This includes Badminton, Boccia, Cricket, Inclusive Play, Sailability at Sulphur Point and Tri Games at Club Mount Maunganui (Croquet, Patanque and Bowls). This year we are also introducing Rugby League Drills and Skills, including a Showdown Game of Wheelchair Rugby League on Mothers Day.

McLaren Falls Trail, Aramex Kiwi Walk and Run Series

An invitation to move! Come join the Aramex Kiwi Walk and Run Series for a 5.5km, 10.3km, or 14.7km walk OR run around the stunning McLaren Falls. Medals for all finishers, and enjoy some sweet treats along the way!

Course Overview: Just a short ten minute drive from Tauranga, McLaren Falls Regional Park is covered with pristine forest and well formed trails overlooking the stunning Lake McLaren. Alush with native bush and glowworms, this is one of NZ’s most popular and visited Regional Parks.

Suitable for: Lovers of magical autumn colours. There is slightly little more elevation than our usual courses which makes the course attractive. Great for first timers, avid trail runners, young, old, walkers and runners.
