Two lucky Powerball players from Wellington and Invercargill will be celebrating a life-changing win after each winning $15.08 million with Powerball First Division in Saturday night’s live Lotto draw.
The winning tickets were sold at Plaza Supervalue in Invercargill and on MyLotto to a player from Wellington.
The prizes are made up of $15 million from Powerball First Division and $83,333 from Lotto First Division.
Saturday night’s winners are the tenth and eleventh Powerball multi-millionaires this year, and their win comes just over a month after a Porirua woman scored herself $17.2 million. The woman is looking forward to setting her family up for the future.
Ten other lucky Lotto players will also be celebrating after winning $83,333 with Lotto First Division in Saturday night’s live Lotto draw. The winning tickets were sold at Woolworths Queensgate in Lower Hutt, Stellin Street Store in Lower Hutt, Greymouth Lotto & Souvenirs in Greymouth,
New World Halswell in Christchurch and on MyLotto to players from Tauranga, Hawkes Bay, Wellington and Ashburton.
Meanwhile, two lucky Strike players will also be celebrating after each winning $200,000 with Strike Four. The winning Strike tickets were sold at Woolworths Metro in Auckland and on MyLotto to a player from Wellington.
