Passed away unexpectedly, following a period of illness, on 24 June 2025.

Dearly loved partner of Fran.

Cherished father of Tracy, Marcus, and Denise.

Loved father-in-law of Kiri, Kirstie, and Dwayne.

Proud grandfather of Harmony and Aaron, Waireka and Caprice, Rowe and Jemma, Eve, Conor and Tahlia, Jenna and Alyssa, and Fiona.

Loved stepdad of Shane and family.

Beloved son of the late Gordon and Helen.

Loved brother of Dennis, Colin, David, Dorcas, and Dianne.

Murray was known for his sharp wit, stubborn spirit, and fierce love for his family. He loved a good debate and was always there when it mattered most. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A private gathering will be held in accordance with Murray’s wishes.
