Service Number W3015 WAAF RNZAF. On 30 June 2025, in her 102nd year, after a short illness at Hodgson House.  Loved wife of the late Doug De Mey of Tauranga. Loved mother and mother-in-law of the late Ian; and Cheryl, Annette and Richard, Janny and Mike, Geoff and Lynda, and their families. ‘Thelma was dearly loved and treasured by her many grandchildren’. Our thanks to Accadia Rest Home, and Hodgson House for their nursing care.  A service for Thelma will be held at the Pyes Pa Memorial Park Chapel, 403 Pyes Pa Rd Tauranga on Wednesday 9 July at 2 pm, followed by cremation. ‘Rest In Peace’.  At Thelma’s request, she will be laid to rest with Doug in the RSA Section at Pyes Pa Cemetery.
