Power is out to about 200 properties in the Mount area after a car hit a power pole.

Police were speaking to the driver after a single vehicle struck a power pole on Hull Rd.

Police said they were notified about the incident about 9.50am.

“No injuries have been reported at this stage.”

Powerco estimated the power would be restored by 1.45pm.

The unplanned outage affected 217 properties around the area.
