People travelling along State Highway 33 in the Bay of Plenty are being warned to expect delays next week.
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi will be doing drainage works on the highway, between Ōkere Falls and Allport Rd, from next Tuesday, September 23.
In a statement, the roading agency said the work will take place along a 1.3km section of state highway between 7am and 5pm each day and is expected to be completed by Friday, September 26.
“Temporary traffic management will include stop/go and a reduced speed limit of 30km/h.
“Delays aren’t expected; however, we recommend allowing a little extra time just in case.”
The statement said that in the event of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, the work may be postponed.
