On 3 October 2025, Ron passed away peacefully at Tauranga Hospital age 90 years.

Dearly loved husband of Helen (dec’d) and much loved father and father-in-law of John and Karen; Alison and Simon; and Stuart. Loved grandad of Matthew, Connor and Ryan; Thomas, Megan and Laura; Struan, Erin and Fyfe and his 7 great grandchildren.

Fondly remembered by his good friend Katie.

At Ron’s request, a private cremation has been held.
