To celebrate 50 years of adventure this month, Waimarino Group is offering a huge three days of free activities, tour discounts and water-filled fun at its Waimarino Adventure Park next to the Wairoa River this coming Labour weekend.
Barry and Barbara Anderson founded Waimarino alongside the river – accessible from Taniwha Place – back in 1975. Today, three businesses – Waimarino Adventure Park, Waimarino Kayak Tours, and Waimarino Riverside – along with the Waimarino Education Trust make up the family-owned Waimarino Group.
Celebrating and inspiring
“As Waimarino Group marks 50 years of adventure, kayaking, and community, this milestone is not just about looking back – it’s about celebrating the people who contributed to the success of Waimarino Group over the years and inspiring the future generations to create, learn, explore and adventure,” said owner Blair Anderson.
