Crews have fought a “fully ablaze” house fire in Kawerau.

A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said they received reports of the fire about 9.30pm on Monday.

Three crews attended and arrived to the single-storey house fully ablaze, the spokesperson said.

There were concerns that people were trapped; however, all were accounted for and safe.

Crews remained until 12.30am.

Police were notified about the Browne St fire, a spokeswoman said.
