On Friday 31 October 2025, Ray passed away peacefully at Radius Matua, Tauranga aged 92 years. Loving husband of Fay (RIP) married for 66 years. Beloved father and father-in-law of Geoff and Gay; Kevin and Sandra; Noel and Charlotte; and Allan. Treasured grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A Builder for his whole working life; a Life Member of Otumoetai Cadets/Tauranga Rugby and Sports Club; and connections with Tauranga athletics, rowing, golf and croquet. Rest in peace Ray.
At Ray’s request, a private service is to be held and an open invitation is extended to Ray’s friends, to gather at 4:00pm, on Wednesday 05 November 2025, at Tauranga Rugby and Sports Club Clubrooms, Tauranga Domain, 31 Cameron Road Tauranga, to share memories.
