Emergency services are responding to a crash between a truck and cyclist in Judea, Tauranga.

“Police were notified of a crash involving a cyclist and a truck on Birch Avenue at around 3.50pm,” a police spokesperson said.

Hato Hone St John was notified of the incident at 3.39pm, responding with an ambulance and rapid response vehicle.

“One patient was assessed and treated at the scene. They were in a minor condition and did not require transport to hospital.”

Police said no road blockages to the road have been reported.
