On 21 November 2025, Fay passed away peacefully, at The Avenues, Tauranga.

A funeral service to celebrate Fay’s 90 lifelong years, will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday 26 November 2025, at Legacy Tauranga, 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga.
